    Located at the north end of the small complex’s central axis, the great hall of the Shrine to the Eastern Peak is 12 x 9.9 meters and three bays wide. It is crowned with an overhanging gable (xuanshan 懸山) roof. The god of the Eastern Peak is worshiped inside the hall (Liu 1986, 29; Liu et al. 2015, vol. 7, 1).1
