Built at the same time as the Wenchang Temple Palace and accessible to it from a doorway in the southwest corner. Originally the east wall abutted the Jinci Town wall. According to Liu Dapeng, the local literati would gather here annually on the third day of the second month when Wenchang was worshiped. Because colored clouds were a symbol of a flourishing period, those who gathered in this place would gain even greater abilities.
